Zhang wanted to be an oil painter. Knight wanted to be an opera singer. They direct films together.
-
Zhang & Knight are a London-based directing duo. Beginning their career in music videos and commercials, their beautifully crafted dreamscape films quickly gained international recognition.
They have worked with artists ranging from London Grammar to Arlo Parks, and brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Maserati.
Their debut short film “A Bear Remembers” has since gone on to win top prizes around the world, and was recently selected by Barry Jenkins to play at Telluride film festival. T
They were previously part of the BFI’s mentoring scheme, where they were tutored by Luca Guadagnino.
